RAISING FUNDS FOR BRISBANE YOUTH SERVICE, WILL BE THE FIRST EVENT TO BE HOSTED AT THE BRAND NEW LUXURY BOUTIQUE VENUE – THE CALILE HOTEL
The annual Gala on the Green event has now been secured on the 13th of October as the first external event to be located in the grand ballroom and pool terrace of the luxury boutique hotel on James Street,
The Calile Hotel. Picture a spectacular pool, lined with green stone and a Turkish travertine surround when you walk into the stunning Calile Hotel grand ballroom for an evening of live music, raffle giveaways and luxury catering in support of a great local charity.
Gala on the Green has raised over $130,000 for Brisbane Youth Service through this event since 2011. Committee President Tim Christie says “We have secured an incredible venue… and hope that we (the event) can raise more than ever for BYS in 2018”.
There are tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of prizes to be given away at the event including the top prize of a return flight for 2 anywhere in Australia thanks to one of the event sponsors, Virgin Airways.
Attendees are able to buy raffle tickets at the door at the event, or on the website.
Help raise funds for Brisbane Youth Service who support homeless and disadvantaged young people (aged 12-25 years) and their children.
BYS provides emergency support and a range of services to assist young people to address physical & mental health issues, establish successful relationships & support networks and access pathways to education & longterm employment.
“We are so grateful for the support from the committee of unpaid volunteers that work hard every year to source donations and plan this entire event. The funds raised from Gala on the Green really do help change lives,” says Annemaree Callander the Chief Executive Officer of BYS.
Gala on the Green will be hosted in the pure luxury of The Calile Hotel with a maximum amount of 400 people, so secure your tickets fast. There will be discounted hotel rooms available for all ticket holders.
