Another Brisbane Youth Service (BYS) property has recently received a makeover thanks to a local church group. The inside of our Phoenix House property at Carina is looking a lot fresher after a group of 27 volunteers from GIFTS, Riverlife Baptist Church gave up part of their weekend to do some painting for us. GIFTS stands for ‘Giving In Full To Serve’ and is the name of the church’s Young Adults outreach team.

It was a privilege to freshen up the house and amazing to meet the young people who would be living there too.
